This entry-level human resources assistant role supports Army civilian hiring by handling recruitment tasks, processing new employee paperwork, and using computer systems to track job applications and offers.
It's a developmental position that starts with basic administrative experience and grows into more specialized staffing work.
Ideal candidates are organized detail-oriented individuals with some office background who enjoy helping people start new jobs in a government setting.
This position is a Human Resources (Developmental) Assistant, NF-0203-02/03.

NF-02 (Developmental) Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems.

Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment and staffing. 2.
Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.) 3.
Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)4. Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems.

Highly Preferred: In addition to the qualifications listed above, applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity.
