Base salary range: $33,878 - $44,042

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves supporting military personnel by managing their service records, researching information to answer questions about HR matters, and using computer systems to keep everything up to date.
You'll also provide customer service to sailors and leaders, handle files, and ensure records follow Navy rules.
It's a good fit for someone with experience in administrative work, especially in military or HR settings, who is detail-oriented and good at communicating.
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in the RECORDS MANAGEMENT AND BENEFITS DIVISION of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND RESERVE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of military policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain military personnel service records; 2) Researching information in military records and databases in order to respond to inquiries regarding military human resources issues; 3) Utilizing automated systems to create and maintain military records; and 4) Communicating effectively, orally and in writing, to interact with leadership and personnel at all levels.
