Full Job Description

The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is organized, has exemplary analytical and problem-solving skills, and is interested in working in a fast-paced Human Resources environment.

This position will serve as a Human Resources Analyst or Specialist serving as the Human Resources Officer for the Macomb Correctional Facility performing the full range of Human Resources activities.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A strong understanding of the Human Resources field.
  • Able to handle a fast-paced challenging work environment.
  • Ability to investigate, analyze, interpret, and apply policies, rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
