This HR Analyst 1 position with the PSPHRO provides professional analytical work in absence and attendance administration as well as the management of employee separations.
You will interpret and apply contracts, management directives, and personnel rules, as well as calculate time and pay changes, prepare technical reports, and communicate effectively with a variety of other teams and professionals, both verbally and in writing.
Work involves researching and analyzing absence, attendance, and payroll related problems and issues; analyzing various decisions and agreements to determine if absence, attendance, and payroll adjustments are required; and inputting required adjustments and solutions.
This includes calculating payment amounts and interacting heavily with payroll operations personnel to ensure employees receive the correct salary and benefits.
Responsibilities also involve providing timekeeping guidance to timekeepers, shift planners, administrative personnel, and separating personnel; responding to internal inquiries; coordinating and providing timekeeper training; and conducting audits of absence, attendance, and other reports and data.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
