As a Human Resource Assistant 2, you will play a key role in supporting talent acquisition and human resource operations for Engineering District 3-0.
This includes coordinating recruitment and hiring activities for seasonal, intern, and permanent positions while ensuring processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
You will be responsible for preparing requisitions, reviewing referrals, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and processing hiring actions in the database.
You will have the opportunity to partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and support seasonal programs such as winter maintenance, student interns, and high school intern initiatives.
Work also involves providing exceptional customer service and HR support by responding to inquiries, generating reports, assisting with recruitment events, and coordinating programs such as job shadowing and temporary work out of classification assignments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Montoursville. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
