Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing military housing facilities at a Marine Corps base in Japan, including planning projects, handling resident complaints, and ensuring proper use of living spaces for service members.
A good fit would be someone with experience in property or facilities management who can work independently, solve problems, and guide junior staff in a structured environment.
Note that medical and dental care is very limited in this overseas location.

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: implementing management plans and directives concerning utilization of an organization's housing assets; planning, scheduling, and coordinating major activities for housing projects and facilities; and/or determining billeting requirements for tenant organizations.
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
