Summary

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Independently planning, designing, and carrying out programs/projects; applying principles and practices related to the management of Public Private Venture (PPV) housing facilities; AND performing standard housing management functions.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for the direct, onsite management and administration, including planning, developing, scheduling, implementing, and overall technical oversight of the installation Family Housing Services functions.
  • You will plan, organize and perform work required to ensure proper customer service and compliance with appropriate mandates of the Marine Corps Housing Office policies and procedures.
  • You will monitor the operation and maintenance of the Public Private Venture (PPV) Housing, reviewing financial and maintenance plans and reports.
  • You will monitor Change of Occupancy (COO) specific work for the PPV housing inventory, Monitors and maintains all COO maintenance information.
  • You will prepare and conduct audiovisual presentations, when required, concerning PPV housing before Commands, groups, and incoming personnel being reassigned to the area.
  • You will assist senior specialists with determining the total housing requirement for military personnel assigned to the installation, evaluating existing housing assets, including PPV units.
  • You will ensure the occupancy data in the housing software program is reviewed and updated on a daily/monthly basis and reflects accurate current occupancy.
  • You will establish and maintain continuous liaison with various agencies and PPV partners to advise them of military housing needs.
  • You will maintain tenant occupant history files that include occupancy date. special requests, childcare provider information, number of complaints, etc.
