Job Description

Summary

This job involves helping manage military housing by handling resident complaints, processing requests for living quarters, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and overseeing service contracts for properties.

It's a support role in a Marine Corps base in California, ideal for someone with customer service experience who enjoys organizing tasks and working with people in a structured environment.

A good fit would be an organized individual comfortable dealing with housing issues and following government policies.

Key Requirements

  • At least one year of experience equivalent to GS-05 level in federal or equivalent private/public sector
  • Direct customer service experience, including providing housing-related guidance

  • Skills in processing requests for permanent and temporary housing quarters
  • Experience scheduling and coordinating maintenance, repairs, and walkthroughs
  • Proficiency in monitoring and reporting on maintenance, property management, and service contracts

  • You will be responsible for receiving and processing complaints and related investigations concerning residents to leadership.
  • You will be responsible for processing requests for permanent and temporary quarters.
  • You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the maintenance, repair, or other work required after joint tenant-management walkthroughs of quarters.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring maintenance, property management, and service contracts and report requirements to higher-level management.
