As a Fiscal Management Specialist 2, you will oversee the reporting of fiscal information related to the general accounting and supervision of local budgets, inmate accounts, the General Fund, and the accounts payable department.
You will monitor revenue and expenditures against budgets, grants, contracts, and other financial data.
You will also manage the appropriate use and availability of funds, prepare a variety of fiscal forecasts and reports that project revenue and expenditures, and explain fiscal regulations and procedures to managers.
This role requires solid analytical skills and effective communication to identify necessary adjustments to discrepancies and ensure recommendations ensure compliance with policies.
In addition, you will review agency budget requests, legislative budget packages, and rebudgets.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to two days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mercer, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
