This job involves handling financial tasks like entering expenses, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate records for a county agency that protects children and youth.
You'll work closely with a team to track money for services, salaries, and contracts while helping with audits and reports.
It's a great fit for someone detail-oriented with accounting experience who wants a stable, full-time role supporting community services.
As a Fiscal Technician, you will work closely with the County Fiscal Operations Officer and fiscal support staff to ensure compliance with all fiscal requirements and operations within Lebanon County Children and Youth Services.
Your work will focus on accurately inputting all expenditures and income into the CAPS database, recording journal transfers/deposits and verifying completion, reconciling with the county general ledger, and allocating quarterly expenses.
You will also be responsible for accounting for expenses, program receipts, placements, IV-E eligibilities, salaries and benefits, journal transfers, and per diem contracts.
In addition, you will conduct complex accounts payable and receivable tasks, assist with monthly reviews and yearly audits relating to in-home service providers, assist with completion of the yearly Needs Based Budget, participate in the yearly IV-E audit, and assist with the completion of improvement plans.
Within this role, you will attend trainings and conferences as well as cross train with other fiscal personnel.
