We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Fiscal Management Specialist 2 to join our team in the Bureau of Managed Care Operations.
In this role, you will analyze and monitor financial costs and reports pertaining to providers in the Medical Assistance Program.

In this position, you will review, interpret, and propose any necessary adjustments to financial cost reports submitted by the providers participating in the Medical Assistance Program.
Your work will involve analyzing complex financial cost reports submitted by enrolled hospitals and health centers to ensure they are complete and compliant with regulations.
You will contact providers’ financial personnel to discuss cost reporting requirements.
This will include requesting unreported information, verifying reported information, and assisting with corrections.
Some of your duties will also include preparing and updating reports, developing proposed payment rates, and preparing cost settlement amounts and reports.
Additionally, you will maintain a knowledge of basic financial analysis principles, Medicare cost reimbursement principles, Medical Assistance regulations, and state and federal laws and regulations, as well as their application to the cost reporting system.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
