The Department of Human Services is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Fiscal Management Specialist to join our Office of Budget team.
In this key role, you will perform analytical work in the field of government budget administration, supporting critical financial operations and decision-making.

In this position, you will support the development of the department’s budget and rebudget requests, ensuring they reflect the achievement of administrative goals within established funding limits.
Your responsibilities will include continuously monitoring expenditures and projecting obligations to ensure alignment with the approved budget plan, as well as preparing specialized fiscal and statistical data that illustrate the current and projected financial positions of budget activities.
You will perform a range of budgetary and fiscal functions within the field of government budget administration, with a focus on child support enforcement, information systems, and other related special projects on a scheduled basis.
Your work will be closely reviewed throughout the process and upon completion to ensure accuracy and compliance with established office standards and policies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time and be required to report to the office 2 days per week, as determined by the Division Director or Bureau Director.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
