Salary:
Within Range 49, Step A is $53,136 and Step L is $69,744 annually. The high end of the salary range, Step M, is $71,472, and is typically a longevity step. All employees progress to Step M six (6) years after being assigned to Step L in their permanent salary range.
The Opportunity:
The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (UTC) is seeking to fill a Fiscal Analyst 2 position We’re looking for collaborative and enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team as the Accounts Payable specialist.
Finance and Facilities promotes fiscal responsibility and ensures accountability to the stakeholders of the agency and the citizens of Washington by ensuring the agency maintains adequate resources to carry out its mission.
Hybrid:
Although this is a hybrid opportunity, the successful incumbent must reside within Washington state and will be expected to be in the office 3 - 4 times per week.
Travel:
Local travel, mostly within Thurston County, is required to attend training. The duty station for this position is UTC’s Lacey headquarters office. Employees are not compensated for travel time between their residence and the duty station.

Progressive experience in accounting, budgeting, finance, or payroll as a Fiscal Analyst 1 or equivalent, including professional training in accounting, auditing, and/or financial analysis.
