Job Description

Summary

This job involves helping manage finances for the U.S. Marine Corps in Japan, including creating budgets, checking spending, and ensuring everything follows rules.

It's a good fit for someone with a couple of years of experience in handling money matters, like reviewing budgets or tracking expenses, who is detail-oriented and comfortable working in a structured environment.

Note that medical and dental care is very limited there, so it's best for those prepared for overseas living.

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Facilities Maintenance branch ofMARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical expertise and assistance in a variety of financial functions; monitoring financial resources in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies; and analyzing, evaluating and reviewing budget and program issues and financial data.

GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in a variety of financial functions; analyzing financial resources in compliance with laws; and reviewing budgets and program issues and financial data.
