Full Job Description

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE NAVY (ASN).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading teams of data scientists and engineers responsible for delivering artificial intelligence and data analytic products.

Experience managing a portfolio of analytic products that provide data-driven solutions for complex, enterprise-wide financial initiatives.

Experience with developing and implementing modernized technology solutions for Financial Management.

  • You will provide subject matter expertise and leadership in the design, development, and execution of advanced analytics, reporting, and decision-support solutions across the enterprise.
  • You will lead the development and execution of enterprise analytics strategy to improve financial data transparency and increase effective, data-driven decisions for critical SECNAV initiatives, such as audit and systems transformation.
  • You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
  • You will inform and advise leadership on trends and anomalies translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • You will lead a team of data scientists and data engineers to design and deploy dashboards, models, and various financial analytical products using business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • You will lead cross-functional teams and working groups with financial management subject matter experts to problem-solve and deliver high-impact analytics initiatives.
  • You will monitor project performance, milestones, and risks, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with mission priorities.
