Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate budgeting and reporting, and advising senior leaders on financial policies for the Navy's operations office.
It requires reviewing program spending, preparing reports, and recommending fixes for any issues.
A good fit would be someone with strong experience in government finance or accounting who enjoys detailed analysis and working in a high-level team environment.
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST within IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing Financial Management Analyst duties such as the following: 1) Providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution; 2) Ensuring the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of support managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports; 3) Promulgating approved financial management policies within an organization based on DON policy along with developing and issuing implementing financial procedures; and 4) Directing and/or performing continuing program execution reviews, analysis and appraisals of the major operation and support programs within an organization.
