Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing financial management analysis and advisory services including all aspects of budget formulation, budget execution and unfunded priorities AND recommending alternative financial management methods that satisfy organizational programs and administrative operations.

  • You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
  • You will formulate budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, and review and evaluate budget requests.
  • You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of the organization’s programs and administrative operations and implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets.
  • You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities.
  • You will plan work, sets priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work.
  • You will develop performance standards and evaluate employee performance, interview candidates, recommend hiring and promotions, and identify and arrange for employee development and training.
