Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves helping manage budgets for a special operations unit in the Navy by preparing financial estimates, tracking spending, analyzing data for accuracy, and ensuring everything complies with rules.
It also includes creating reports, conducting reviews, and training others on budget processes.

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT, N7 of COMNAVSPECWARGRU 2.
GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with the development and formulation of budget estimates and justifications, maintaining financial records, and reviewing expenditures for compliance with authorized levels; and conducting analysis of budget requests and verifying the accuracy of financial data.
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing, presenting, and defending budget proposals to key stakeholders or authorities; analyzing financial data to recommend alternative methods for funding programs and operations; and resolving complex financial issues by applying detailed and comprehensive knowledge of financial systems and regulations.
