You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Identifies and frames claims of discrimination, such as preparing acceptance of claim and procedural dismissal notices.
Conducts legal research on equal employment opportunity matters using EEOC Management Directive 110, 29 C.F.R. § 1614, et seq., and EEOC precedential decisions.
Identifies relevant evidence and witnesses, and using interviews, affidavits, and declarations to obtain testimony. Prepares written reports with factual summaries for use by decisionmakers.

Other Special Requirements: This position requires successful completion of an EEO Investigator training program consisting of a minimum of thirty-two (32) hours of training prior to onboarding or within the first 90 days of hiring.
Additionally, this position requires successful maintenance and completion of at least eight (8) hours of continuing EEO Investigator training which must be completed before the end of each fiscal year, as required by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in's Management Directive 110, Chapter 6, Section II.
