This job involves leading a team of scientists and engineers to develop and certify advanced software for naval combat systems, ensuring everything meets high standards for quality and reliability.

You will serve as the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Chief Engineer in the CAPABILITY ENGINEERING BRANCH (V12) of the WARFARE ARCHITECTURE & ENGINEERING DIVISION in the INTEGRATED COMBAT SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT for NAVSURFWARCENDLD.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Your resume must demonstrate at least year experience at the ND-4 (GS-12/13 equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience as a professional Engineer or Scientist maintaining technical awareness and providing technical direction on all facets of the CEC portfolio.
