Why It's a Great Opportunity: In this role, you will support our Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and protected leave compliance programs.
You will conduct intake and investigations of EEO complaints, participate in the ADA interactive process, and help coordinate reasonable accommodations.
You will also assist with matters involving the intersection of disability accommodation and protected leave.
You will analyze information, assess compliance with applicable laws and County policies, and prepare written findings, recommendations, correspondence, and reports.
You will maintain accurate and confidential case records and track timelines to support timely case movement.
You will provide guidance and consultation to employees, supervisors, and departments and support our policy development, training, and outreach efforts.
Additional work may include research, special projects, and providing backup support for related compliance functions.

The Human Resources department embraces a modern work environment where members of our team have flexibility and autonomy.
Within the department hybrid and remote work are the norms, and we maintain a consistent, intentional focus on continuous improvement, the pursuit of excellence, and a welcoming workplace culture.
How to be Successful in the Role: To be successful, you will bring strong analytical and investigative skills, sound judgment, and the ability to interpret and apply EEO, ADA, and protected leave requirements with consistency and discretion.
You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and can explain complex processes to employees and leaders in a respectful and approachable manner.
You are organized, detail-oriented, and manage multiple sensitive matters while meeting deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.
You also demonstrate collaboration, adaptability, and commitment to fairness, accessibility, and continuous improvement in the workplace.
