We are seeking a motivated Corrections General Industries Factory Supervisor to join our team at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Huntingdon.
By helping lead our Correctional Industries Diesel Mechanic Shop, you will teach inmates and monitor the operations of the shop.

In this position, you will supervise subordinate staff and inmate workers in the manufacturing, production, or processing of products or services within the Diesel Mechanic Shop.
Your work will involve providing orientation and training for workers which will include reviewing shop regulations, job requirements, and safety.
You will prepare inmate workers’ progress reports, counsel them on job related performance issues, and make recommendations to promote or demote them based on their overall work performance.
Some of your duties will also include overseeing all phases of production design, preparing product samples, and inspecting work in progress.
Additionally, you will supervise storage and allocation of materials and supplies, the operation and maintenance of equipment, and the internal bookkeeping system.
