The Department of Corrections is seeking a motivated and dedicated Corrections Electronics Trade Instructor at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Albion.

In this position, you will deliver both hands-on training and classroom instruction to inmates in the electronics trade, equipping them with practical skills that support successful employment upon reentry into society.
Your duties will include teaching industry-standard practices, methods, and procedures related to electronics, with an emphasis on the maintenance and repair of electronic, electrical, and mechanical equipment used in areas such as communications and security systems, as well as the installation of electronic systems for facility renovations and new construction projects.
You will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive training curriculum, maintaining accurate records of inmate progress, attendance, and assignments, and supervising inmate work crews as they complete electronic work orders as part of their practical training experience.
