Job Description

Summary

This job involves coordinating a program that helps high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds prepare for college, focusing on math and science through recruitment, advising, workshops, and summer programs.

Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists with coordinating services and strategies to improve student recruitment, retention, and graduation rates.

  • Conduct student intake, verify eligibility, and provide direct services, including preparing Individualized Educational Assessment Plans (EAPs).

  • Provide assistance and advise participants on social, career, financial aid, and academic matters.

  • Design and deliver college readiness and success workshops.

  • Coordinate and oversee academic support staff (tutors/mentors) and the six-week residential summer component.

  • Gather data, maintain participant records, and contribute to the Annual Performance Report.

  • Assists with planning, coordinating, and chaperoning field trips and engage in follow-up activities with participants.

  • Assist with program publicity and communication efforts.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
