Job Description
Summary

Full Job Description
- Assist with intelligence gathering to contribute to the prevention, detection, and seizing of contraband items at the institution.
- Responsible for inmate drug testing.
- Assist with inmate cell searches, contraband retrieval, including employee, visitor, vehicle, dorm, and package searches.
- Provides the Warden with pertinent information as it relates to gang activity and suspicious behavior within the institution.
- You will be responsible for any additional duties assigned by your supervisor or Warden.

Requirements
SCDC Minimum Requirements:- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- 18 years of age or older
- High school graduate or GED
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Tattoos: Must not be offensive and/or gang related or visibly located on the face or head. Tattoos on the neck will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Cannot have been convicted of a crime with a maximum allowable sentence of one year or more, or a fine of $1,000.
- Must pass a physical examination administered by SCDC.
