This job is for a Community Corrections Officer in a reentry program at a center in Spokane, Washington, where the role involves supporting individuals transitioning back into the community after incarceration.

Community Corrections Officer 2 - Reentry - Position #GU41
Reentry Division - Brownstone Reentry Center
Spokane, Washington

The Department of Corrections (DOC) has a permanent, full time Community Corrections Officer 2 opening available within the Reentry Division. Position GU41 is located at the Brownstone Reentry Center in Spokane, WA. Hours of work are 0730 - 1600, Monday - Friday. Work hours are determined by unit needs and are at the discretion of the unit supervisor. If you are currently working an alternate work schedule, please be aware that this position may not be able to honor that schedule. For questions, please contact the Human Resource Office.

In accordance with Article 4.7 of the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE) 2023-25 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), this job opening is available to internal transfer candidates ONLY. Employees who meet the following criteria may apply:

  • You are requesting a transfer under Article 4.7 of the WFSE CBA.
  • You are a permanent DOC employee.
  • You currently hold permanent status in the class being recruited for in this job posting.
  • You are currently in a position represented by WFSE.
