Summary

This job is for a clerk at a military veterinary clinic, handling tasks like processing payments, managing cash, tracking inventory, and supporting front-office operations.

It's ideal for someone with customer service experience who is comfortable with basic math, computers, and interacting with diverse people in a busy clinic setting.

Physical stamina for standing and light lifting is a plus for top candidates.

Full Job Description

This position is located at the Spangdahlem Veterinary Treatment Facility. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Ability to communicate orally and deal effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.

Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Suite or equivalent, ability to use point of sales software.

Basic arithmetic expertise to balance cash draw, accept payments and provide change accurately. Typing proficiency - 40WPM.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Ability to lift 40 lbs and long periods of standing, restraining, kneeling, reaching and sitting, etc.

  • Receives payments for services rendered.
  • Balances cash and checks daily and makes daily bank deposit.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
