As Clerical Assistant 3, you will be tasked with performing secretarial duties for Workers' Compensation Judges and providing office support within the Workers' Compensation Office of Adjudication (WCOA) District Office to ensure operations are conducted efficiently.
Work includes scheduling hearings and mediations, preparing court rooms both in person and virtually for Judges prior to hearing days, and arranging for vendor services according to WCOA policy for interpreters, security guards, and court reporters.
You will prepare and file documents, correspondence, and transcripts in digital and hard copy files, type and format decisions, as well as process and prepare case files related to appealed decisions in accordance with WCOA Policies and Procedures.
This position utilizes Workers' Compensation Automation and Integration System (WCAIS) to maintain a caseload, process tasks, and distribute correspondence for claims.
You will have the opportunity to correspond with the public by phone, email, mail, or through WCAIS, as you answer questions from external sources or refer them to the appropriate contacts when necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time upon successful completion of the training period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Bristol, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
