Requirements

The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position you will serve as an OPEX Eagle operator, OPEX Falcon operator, and balancing clerk in the Remittance Processing Unit. Responsibilities include verification and processing of Vehicle Registration renewals (VR), Driver License renewals (DL), and Disability Parking Placards. You may also verify other state or non-state agency applications accompanied by checks/money orders utilizing the Check 21 System and all processes within this system to update their renewals. Most of the work processed in this unit is a team collaboration effort.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $38,515 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
