The Bureau of Driver Licensing is searching for a Clerical Assistant 2 to be responsible for processing assigned Ignition Interlock Limited License (IILL) petitions for customers under suspension and/or revocation. This position will ensure proper notification and return of products and correspondence to the customer. as well as any restoration work required.

Requirements

The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will perform data entry of Ignition Interlock Limited License (IILL) petitions and various types of other restoration work received in the unit. Updates Pennsylvania drivers records by processing forms, statements, and other documents, received through the mail from customers whose driving privileges are suspended, revoked, cancelled or disqualified. Maintains an accurate log of work received and immediately reports system issues to the Clerical Assistant 3 work leaders, the unit supervisor or the unit manager.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
