The Clerical Assistant 3 performs complex clerical duties and provides customer and office support within the Special Funds (SF) section in the Special Funds & Compliance (SF&C) section of the BWC.
Our team will rely on you to maintain a solid working knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation (WC) Act, Occupational Disease (OD) Act, and the rules and regulations governing them.
This position reviews and evaluates submitted Supersedeas Fund Reimbursement (SFR) documents both in print and online, uses basic mathematics for determining possible reimbursement amounts, calculates and completes applicable SFR worksheets for legal review and organizes submitted information for the BWC Legal file.
You will have the opportunity to correspond with internal staff and external stakeholders daily via verbal and written communications in addition to generating legal correspondence for mailing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, with the expectation of reporting in-office two days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
