Requirements

In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing, comparing, and processing all incoming medical reports from physicians, law enforcement, and concerned citizens to determine the appropriate next steps, if necessary. You will evaluate and process all returned medical forms, making decisions in accordance with established policies and the interpretation of relevant regulations and statutes. Additionally, you will assess and approve or disqualify drivers for special medical waivers. Your duties will also include processing various driver licensing forms and applications, such as renewals, permits, extensions, and identification cards, while calculating all associated processing fees.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment
