Requirements

As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will administer the Division’s records management program by developing and managing processes and procedures to ensure that all vital records are properly maintained, retained, protected and disposed of in accordance with record retention policy. You will assist with the Leased Forest Campsite program by preparing and processing all renewals, transfers, and assignments. You will also be responsible for maintaining files for Right-of-Way, Water Use Agreements and Road Use Agreements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 5 days, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
