Requirements

The responsibilities of the Clerical Assistant 2 in this position are to review the DL-135 Request for Vehicle Information form and accompanying documents in order to provide accurate and timely responses to customer requests. Communicates with the public, messenger services, and legislative offices in a professional and courteous manner via written and verbal communications. Read and comprehend the PA Vehicle Code in order to provide accurate information. Prepare a daily deposit form and submit with checks to the Bureau of Depositing.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
