As a CASSP Coordinator, you will coordinate the care of at-risk youth by facilitating inter-agency meetings to develop service plans that support children and adolescents who are involved in multiple service systems.
This includes serving as the initial point of contact for all family-based referrals and reviewing each family’s case to determine the appropriateness of CASSP services.
Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with professionals from other agencies that provide supportive services to children and families, following up with team members to ensure service plan implementation, and providing an ongoing assessments of the effectiveness of each service plan.
Our team will also rely on you to provide technical assistance to contract and service providers who are part of our service plans.
This includes interpreting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as providing advice regarding overall policies and program objectives.
In addition to working with county-wide personnel to facilitate joint service planning, you will also oversee the planning and operation of committees and associations that are part of CASSP and serve as a member of our Student Assistance Program Coordination Team by providing trainings about CASSP to enhance public knowledge of the supportive services we coordinate and provide.
