This job involves running a welding and metal shop at a military prison, where you'll supervise inmate workers, teach welding skills, and handle tasks like budgeting, equipment maintenance, and producing metal parts.

This position is located at the Fort Leavenworth US Disciplinary Barracks, Metal Shop. The USDB mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" vocational programs for military offenders.

Experience in gas and arc welding. Experience with manufacturing and assembling various types of metal products/parts. Experience in purchasing metal and metal fabrication supplies.
Experience working with various welding processes to include brazing, soldering, flame cutting, and surface hardening. Experience must be reflected on your resume!
