This job involves analyzing and improving computer systems for driver's licenses and vehicle services at Pennsylvania's transportation department, working with IT teams to test changes, fix issues, and ensure everything runs smoothly.

As a Business Analyst 2, you will be responsible for conducting complex analytical functions regarding the development, modification, and operability of driver licensing and motor vehicle systems within PennDOT.
You will work closely with information technology (IT) programming staff and business staff to implement system changes as requested by the DVS management team.
Specific duties involve testing plans and scripts related to system enhancements, new projects, legislation, or resolving defects to ensure business needs are met and systems are functioning properly.
You will also be tasked with researching and analyzing reported system problems, identifying resolutions or workarounds to enable processing functions, and maintaining detailed documentation of findings.
Within this role, you will provide a full range of supervisory duties for lower-level Business Analyst positions engaged in collecting, analyzing, and documenting business rules and processes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon completion of the training period and a successful performance evaluation.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
