Are you a dedicated and ambitious individual with a knack for analyzing complex IT systems? If so, consider joining the Monitoring and Accountability Office (OMA) as a Business Analyst 3. This position is responsible for leading system development and enhancements ensuring quality through design, documentation, testing, and user training. Turn your IT ambitions into action!


Requirements

As a Business Analyst 3, you will take on a key leadership role guiding the requirements, design, and ongoing enhancement of the Integrated Monitoring System (IMS). You will have the opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts and vendors to develop business processes, coordinate testing and training, and ensure system solutions align with organizational needs. Work also involves troubleshooting complex issues, tracking IT initiatives, supporting audits, mentoring staff, and providing user support. Your ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, rules, and directives will be key in driving efficient and effective technology operations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Business Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Six years of business process analysis experience; or
  • Two years of business process analysis experience and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
