This job involves analyzing and supporting computer systems for driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, and related services in Pennsylvania's transportation department.
You'll test system updates, fix issues, and work with IT and business teams to keep everything running smoothly.
It's a great fit for someone with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an interest in government operations who enjoys technical analysis without needing advanced programming expertise.

As a Business Analyst 1, you will be responsible for conducting complex analytical functions regarding the development, modification, and operability of the DL&C system, State-to-State and REAL ID systems application support, and Vehicle Titling and Registration application support.
You will work closely with information technology (IT) programming staff and business staff to implement system changes as requested by the Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) management team.
Specific duties involve testing plans and scripts related to system enhancements, new projects, or resolving defects to ensure business needs are met and systems are functioning properly.
This will entail participating in the planning, conditions, and evaluation of testing activities, to include analyzing the results of completed testing scripts and preparing reports based on observations and results.
You will further research and analyze reported system problems, identify resolutions or workarounds to enable processing functions, and maintain detailed documentation of findings.
