Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability To lead or provide first level supervision is prime of a Barber Supervisor.
- Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to Lead or Supervise which includes the ability to exercise supervisory responsibility for control over work operations and subordinate workers to include: 1) Assisting with advising workers on how to improve their performances, and 2) Providing a variety of established barbering services such as cuts, trims and/or shapes hair into various haircuts.
- Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
To meet the basic eligibility, you must receive at least two points on the screen-out element indicated above and must have an average of two points on all the job elements listed below.
Your application will be further evaluated to determine if you meet the best qualified cut-off for referral to the selecting official.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued Barber's license.
(You must attach your Barber's license with your application package.) Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc.
Ability To Lead or Supervise Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Use of Measuring Instruments Physical Efforts: Work involves constant standing, bending and use of both arms and hands.
Dexterity is required to lock the barbering swivel chair, adjust chair height to appropriate cutting level and regulate the swivel movements of the chair through the barbering processes.
Constant light physical effort with occasional periods of heavier lifting when moving or storing supplies. Working Conditions: Work is performed indoors.
Duties expose incumbent to burns, cuts, electrical shock, and other injuries from hand tools or power equipment.
Required to wear a smock, wash hands thoroughly and frequently with soap and water, sanitize barbering tools, and maintain working area in accordance with established procedures.
Required to work at any Barbering facility including off post camps. Major Duties:
