This position has critical responsibilities and assists the P-Card Program Director. The responsibilities of this role are crucial to the overall operation and compliance of the P-Card Program for the Department of Health (DH), the Department of Health Facilities (DHF), the Department of Human Services (DoHS) and the Office of Shared Administration (OSA). This position is essential to maintain the integrity of the P-Card, Instant Card, and E-Travel programs for over 2,000 cardholders. The work is detail oriented and must be completed to ensure the P-Card Program operates effectively and adheres to compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and regulations for the P-Card Program
- Performing reconciliation, posting information to logs and ledgers, and ensuring the accuracy of the program data
- Serving as a primary contact for DH, DHF, DoHS, and OSA regarding P-Card usage issues and providing technical assistance
- Maintaining P-Card user files and confidential documentation
- Preparing activity reports and training employees in report retrieval
- Monitoring P-Card purchases for compliance with procurement rules
- Assisting with the Travel P-Card Program policies, procedures, applications, and E-Travel system maintenance.

Qualifications
Training: Graduation from an accredited college or university. Preference may be given to candidates with a major in the area of public or business administration, accounting, industrial relations, communications or related field.
Substitution: Additional qualifying experience as described below may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required training.
Experience: One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in a technical or advanced clerical position providing administrative services such as accounting, budgeting, project monitoring and reporting, personnel, or procurement and property. Experience must have been at the Office Assistant 3 or Accounting Technician 3 level or higher.Substitution: Successful completion of graduate study in an accredited college or university in one of the above fields may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
