In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing and securing office space in leased and State owned facilities for the Department of Labor and Industry.
This includes reviewing lease contracts, visiting field offices, and collaborating with a variety of professionals and teams to identify and meet program area needs.
Your responsibilities will involve processing lease actions; obtaining required approvals from legal, budget, and leadership offices and personnel; coordinating with program areas and our design team to establish the most efficient use of space; and working with the Department of General Services and program areas to coordinate renovation projects.
Our team will rely on you to ensure leases adhere to all required standards, conduct final inspections and decide if a facility is completed in compliance with lease specifications, and help decide what is needed to complete relocations a timely manner with minimal disruption.
You will also ensure that rent and space utilization are calculated accurately for each office or parking facility and coordinate with health, safety, and maintenance personnel to resolve maintenance problems as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
