Responsibilities of a Business License & Law Enforcement Specialist III- Coordinate the acquisition and maintenance of dealer bonds and dealer insurance policies.
- Manage the process of obtaining and renewing driving school bonds and driving school insurance.
- Facilitate third-party reporting procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee the certification process for third-party entities involved in our operations.
- Maintain accurate records of driving school licenses and dealer licenses, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline licensing and insurance processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to licensing and insurance requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to team members and customers regarding licensing and insurance-related matters.
- Support third party clients, dealers, and all other customers through over the phone support to include troubleshoot etc.
- Covert Credential Process-Ensures accuracy of requests for executive approvals, manages appointments and vehicle/driver license transactions, and maintains thorough applicant records and compliance
- Performs additional duties as may be required by supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements- A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Agency Requirements- Must complete a nationwide criminal background check to include finger printing.
- Due to the sensitivity of the position, the employee must be able to successfully pass a state and federal security clearance background check.
Additional Requirements- Considerable knowledge of office policies, practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of grammatical rules and clerical formats.
- Ability to deal effectively with the public in handling inquires and communicating information.
- Ability to establish and maintain a complex filing system.
- Ability to collect, compile and assemble information in a clear concise manner.
- Ability to exercise judgement and discretion in interpreting and applying departmental policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to type and use a personal computer proficiently.
- Works under general supervision. Job duties primarily involve the performance of administrative tasks.
- Work requires discretion in the interpretation of application of policies and procedures within a specific area.
- Works in general office environment with some background noise.
- Ability to speak and hear with clarity.
- Good eye and hand coordination, bending, lifting and manual dexterity.
- Interactions with other departments and offices by telephone.
