Requirements

As an Administrative Assistant 1 within the Office of the Board of Pardons, you will review clemency applications and clearly communicate with the applicant or representative to obtain additional information as required for all eligible cases and amend applications as necessary. A comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the clemency process is vital in order to best assist applicants and explain the procedure and all possible outcomes. This is complex work involving attention to detail and accuracy in the review of an application, court documents, and criminal history records. You will have the opportunity to aid applicants and their representatives with use of the electronic application system, as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hour work week
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
