To provide instruction including hands-on and theory, supervision of students, classroom management, clinical supervision (as applicable), as well as administrative tasks that may include: reports, syllabus and lesson plan development, development of student materials, laboratory experiences, formative and summative evaluations, and work experiences.
Courses are offered throughout the year; start dates and times will vary according to the course offering.Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the status of assigned program area(s) and industry.
Completes administrative tasks to maintain student records, class records, and support program accreditation/recognition.Provides high-quality instructional experiences to prepare students for certification/licensure or personal enrichment as scheduled by college/director/EVP.Other duties as assigned by program coordinator or Director.
Requirements High school diploma and five (5) years of experience in program field required. Additional qualifications may be applicable based on the program and/or regulatory requirements.
Additional Information Must have a current valid driver’s license class D, and/or class A. Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to the area of employment.
Ability to exercise judgment and discretion. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all common working conditions (A/C, heat, rain, etc.) Occasional overnight travel in and out of state, regular in-state travel.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist, squat.
