Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for a part-time philosophy teacher at a community college in South Carolina, where you'll lead classes, create lesson plans, grade student work, and track progress using online tools to help students succeed.
It's ideal for someone with a strong background in philosophy who enjoys teaching and supporting diverse learners in a community-focused environment.
Prior college teaching experience is a plus but not required.
Job Purpose:
Teach Philosophy courses to students in all academic programs at the Technical College of the Lowcountry.

Master’s Degree in Philosophy or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Philosophy or closely related field required. Transcripts required upon contact.
Prior post-secondary teaching experience preferred.
