Full Job Description

Adjunct position could be located at the Cheraw, Marlboro, Dillon, or Pageland Campus. Will be based on availability and need.

Under general supervision, the purpose of this position is to provide instruction in the certificate, diploma, and A.A.S. programs for the heavy equipment technology trade. Preferred applicants should have familiarity with the NCCER certification curriculum. Employee must possess a commitment to quality teaching and student achievement. Employees in this classification perform instructional work. Position is responsible for teaching classes and instructing students; administering tests; evaluating work; and counseling/advising students. Perform related work as required.

Requirements

Certifications and licensing in Heavy Equipment Technology and/or Diesel related fields. Five 5-10 years of work experience as a Heavy equipment Technician. Must have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Diesel and/or Heavy Equipment Technology or related field. Ten (10) years of work experience as a Heavy equipment Technician, with teaching/training experience.
