This job is for a part-time biology teacher at a community college in South Carolina, where you'll deliver lessons, manage classrooms, assess student work, and help with reports and planning to support student success.
It's ideal for someone with a strong biology background who enjoys teaching and mentoring diverse students in a supportive educational environment.

Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis.Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
Instructional DevelopmentRecommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.Work with other areas of the college such as Tutoring, Retention, etc.
to help ensure student success.Prepare reports in cooperation with Division Dean for input in planning/reporting system and/or for submission to the accrediting body of the College or program.Professional DevelopmentAttend relevant professional meetings.Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at local, state, and national levels.
Requirements Master's Degree in Biology or Master's Degree in a related field AND a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Biology are required. Unofficial transcripts are required when applying.
Qualifications Master’s degree in biology and two (2) years teaching experience is preferred.
