Job Description
Summary
This internship offers college students hands-on experience in information technology roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency, focusing on supporting defense operations through tech tasks like systems management and data handling.
It's ideal for motivated undergrads or grads interested in national security and government IT work, who thrive in team environments and value integrity and excellence.
The program runs during the summer of 2027 at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
Key Requirements
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaborating across organizational boundaries
- Demonstrated integrity and adherence to ethical principles in professional responsibilities
- Relevant experience or knowledge in IT areas such as software development, cybersecurity, or network management
- Ability to address mandatory assessment factors related to job performance, including specific technical knowledge
