This job is a summer internship for college students in information technology at a defense agency, where you'll get hands-on training and support tasks like fixing tech issues under close supervision.
It's aimed at building your skills for future IT roles in cybersecurity.

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service.
It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Technical / Administrative Work Category at the Entry/Developmental Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. Student Interns qualify based on their educational achievements.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the education requirements described below.
Basic Requirements: For the GG-03 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of post high school study.
For the GG-04 grade level: Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree.
For the GG-05 grade level: Completion of all requirements for a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.
For the GG-07 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of graduate level education or eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement Provision after completing a bachelor's degree.
Transcripts are (Required) along with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 - You will render an ineligible rating if the transcripts are not submitted. Major Duties:
